Nota 3:  Éste es el Credo Nicenoconstantinopolitano (Concilios de Nicea en el 325AD y de Constantinopla en el 381AD).
Nota 4: Las glosas entre corchetes son omisiones presentes en el Credo de los Apóstoles; las he marcado como opcionales.

Credo in unum Deum, Patrem omnipotentem:
Factorem caeli et terrae, visibilium omnium et invisibilium.
Et in unum Dominum Iesum Christum,
Filium [Dominus nostrum] Dei Unigenitum,
Et ex Patre natum ante omnia saecula.
Deum de Deo, lumen de lumine, Deum verum de Deo vero,
Genitum, non factum; consubstantialem Patri per quem omnia facta sunt.
Qui propter nos hómines et propter nostram salutem, descendit de caelis.
Et incarnatus est de Spiritu Sancto
Ex Maria Virgine, et homo factus est.
Crucifixus etiam pro nobis sub Pontio Pilato;
Passus, et sepultus est, [Descendit ad inferos]
Et resurrexit tertia die, secundum Scripturas,
Et ascendit in caelum, sedet ad dexteram Patris [Per quem omnia facta sunt].
Et iterum venturus est cum gloria, iudicare vivos et mortuos, cuius regni non erit finis.
Et in Spiritum Sanctum, Dominum et vivificantem, qui ex Patre Filioque procedit.
Qui cum Patre et Filio simul adoratur et conglorificatur, qui locutus est per prophetas.
Et unam, sanctam, catholicam et apostolicam Ecclesiam [et sanctorum communionem].
Confiteor unum baptisma in remissionem peccatorum.
Et expecto resurrectionem mortuorum, et vitam venturi saeculi. Amen.


Creo en un solo Dios, Padre todopoderoso:
Creador del Cielo y de la Tierra,
De todo lo visible y lo invisible.
Creo en un solo Señor Jesucristo [Señor nuestro]
Hijo único de Dios;
Nacido del Padre antes de todos los siglos:
Dios de Dios, Luz de Luz; Dios verdadero de Dios verdadero;
Engendrado, no creado;
Consubstancial al Padre por quien todo fue hecho;
Que por nosotros los hombres y por nuestra salvación bajó del Cielo,
Y por obra del Espíritu Santo se encarnó de María la Virgen y se hizo Hombre.
Por nuestra causa fue crucificado en tiempos de Poncio Pilato;
padeció y fue sepultado, [descendió a los infiernos]
y resucitó al tercer día según las Escrituras y subió al Cielo;
Está sentado a la derecha del Padre [por quien todo fue hecho],
y de nuevo ha de venir con Gloria para juzgar a vivos y muertos, y su reino no tendrá fin.
Creo en el Espíritu Santo, Señor y dador de vida, que procede del Padre y del Hijo;
Que con el Padre y el Hijo recibe una misma adoración y gloria y que habló por los profetas.
Creo en la Iglesia que es Una, Santa, Católica y Apostólica [y en la comunión de los santos].
Confieso que hay un solo bautismo para el perdón de los pecados;
Espero la resurrección de los muertos, y la vida en el mundo futuro. Amén.


I believe in one God, the Father almighty:
Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ [our Lord], the Only Begotten Son of God,
Born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light, True God from true God;
Begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
And by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried, [descended into hell,]
and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son;
Who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church [and in the communion of saints].
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins
and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come. Amen.


Πιστεύω εἰς ἕνα Θεόν, Πατέρα, Παντοκράτορα, ποιητὴν οὐρανοῦ καὶ γῆς, ὁρατῶν τε πάντων καὶ ἀοράτων.
Καὶ εἰς ἕνα Κύριον Ἰησοῦν Χριστόν, τὸν Υἱὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ τὸν μονογενῆ, τὸν ἐκ τοῦ Πατρὸς γεννηθέντα πρὸ πάντων τῶν αἰώνων·
φῶς ἐκ φωτός, Θεὸν ἀληθινὸν ἐκ Θεοῦ ἀληθινοῦ, γεννηθέντα οὐ ποιηθέντα, ὁμοούσιον τῷ Πατρί, δι' οὗ τὰ πάντα ἐγένετο.
Τὸν δι' ἡμᾶς τοὺς ἀνθρώπους καὶ διὰ τὴν ἡμετέραν σωτηρίαν κατελθόντα ἐκ τῶν οὐρανῶν καὶ σαρκωθέντα
ἐκ Πνεύματος Ἁγίου καὶ Μαρίας τῆς Παρθένου καὶ ἐνανθρωπήσαντα.
Σταυρωθέντα τε ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἐπὶ Ποντίου Πιλάτου, καὶ παθόντα καὶ ταφέντα.
Καὶ ἀναστάντα τῇ τρίτῃ ἡμέρᾳ κατὰ τὰς Γραφάς.

Καὶ πάλιν ἐρχόμενον μετὰ δόξης κρῖναι ζῶντας καὶ νεκρούς, οὗ τῆς βασιλείας οὐκ ἔσται τέλος.
Καὶ εἰς τὸ Πνεῦμα τὸ Ἅγιον, τὸ κύριον, τὸ ζωοποιόν,
τὸ ἐκ τοῦ Πατρὸς ἐκπορευόμενον,
τὸ σὺν Πατρὶ καὶ Υἱῷ συμπροσκυνούμενον καὶ συνδοξαζόμενον,
τὸ λαλῆσαν διὰ τῶν προφητῶν.
Εἰς μίαν, Ἁγίαν, Καθολικὴν καὶ Ἀποστολικὴν Ἐκκλησίαν.
Ὁμολογῶ ἓν βάπτισμα εἰς ἄφεσιν ἁμαρτιῶν.
Προσδοκῶ ἀνάστασιν νεκρῶν.
Καὶ ζωὴν τοῦ μέλλοντος αἰῶνος.
