Santo, Santo, Santo es el Señor Dios del Universo.
Llenos están el Cielo y la Tierra de tu Gloria; hosanna en el Cielo.
Bendito el que viene en Nombre del Señor; hosanna en el Cielo.


Holy, holy, holy Lord, God of power and might.
Heaven and earth are full of your glory; hosanna in the highest.

Credo in unum Deum, Patrem omnipotentem:
Factorem caeli et terrae, visibilium omnium et invisibilium.

Creo en un solo Dios, Padre todopoderoso:
Creador del Cielo y de la Tierra,

I believe in one God, the Father almighty:
Maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ [our Lord], the Only Begotten Son of God,
Born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light, True God from true God;
Begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven,
And by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,

I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church [and in the communion of saints].
I confess one baptism for the forgiveness of sins

Nota:  Esta oración es la más antigua oración a María que se conoce. Los registros más antiguos datan del año 250 de nuestra era.

Sub tuum praesidium confugimus, Sancta Dei Genitrix,
Nostras deprecationes ne despicias in necessitatibus nostris;
Sed a periculis cunctis libera nos semper, Virgo gloriosa et benedicta.
[Ora pro nobis sancta Dei Genetrix; ut digni efficiamur promissionibus Christi.
Oremus: Omnipotens sempiterne Deus, qui gloriosae Virginis Matris Mariae corpus et animam, ut dignum Filii tui habitaculum effici mereretur, Spiritu Sancto cooperante praeparasti: da, ut cuius commemoratione laetamur; eius pia intercessione, ab instantibus malis, et a morte perpetua liberemur.
